Israeli Defense Forces – 2014

•  Jewish Israelis are required to be part of the military

•  That requirement has never been issued to Arab Israelis

         •  In 2013, 100 Arabs enlisted in the IDF

         •  All these Arabs are Christian

         •  There has been a very significant increase of Christians (Arab or Jew) enlisting

         •  More Christians have joined the IDF than ever before

         •  There are a few Arab Christian females who join the military

•  There is one Druze Muslim who is a coronel in the IDF.

         •  He is commander of the Golani Brigade

         •  Since 1948, 83% of all Druze men have served in the IDF
